WILD DYES AND EARTH MEDICINE

Saturday, May 20, 2017 - 9AM - 5PM     &    Sunday, May 21, 2017 -  10AM - 4PM

Learn how to make natural dyes from sustainably harvested botanicals and practice connecting with nature with your heart, mind and body!

Join us at Sweet Sister's botanical body care studio on Whidbey Island for two days of heart-conscious meditation, plant walks, sustainable wild harvesting, and botanical dyeing!

In this two-day earthen arts workshop we will make non-toxic wild dyes and mordants, learn how to use a plant key, and practice connecting to nature with our hearts through listening and meditation.

Each student will leave the class with a hand-made natural garment that we've dyed in class, a set of written notes about using a plant key and creating wild dyes, an earth meditation to practice, and a copy of the ecological, medicinal, energetic, and spiritual aspects of the plants we've used in our dye projects.
